Mark is professional drummer based in the UK providing remote recording and drums for the last 30+ years.

His main focus on the drums is to always serve the song and listen to what is being played by the other instruments in the band. Be aware of the song and how it develops.

During his career he's played a number of different genres from Rock/Pop, Jazz, Funk, Country, Folk, Songwriter and Soul to name a few and know how to create a drum sound for the specific genre of the music

 

The drums have the overarching power in a band to make it groove, drive it forward and hold it altogether 

 

From running his own studio doing production work and tracking drums he knows what producers and directors are looking for on their projects - having that first hand experience really helps.
